Laundry Attendant and Housekeeper 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 3150 Ocean Drive, Vero Beach, FL 32963 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant for 2 days a week, and to cover when the full time Laundress is on vacation. If you are interested in also being a housekeeper, we could give you extra days as a housekeeper. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry items are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute significantly to our guests’ satisfaction in a hotel environment. Responsibilities Clean and launder various types of linens, towels, blankets, comforters using appropriate methods and equipment. Operate washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry items for easy access and distribution. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote a safe working environment. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly to management. Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low. Qualifications Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, particularly in a hotel setting, is required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to operate laundry machines and other related equipment safely and effectively. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
