The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential environments. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure a clean environment. Conduct buffing and floor care activities to maintain the appearance of floors. Execute custodial duties in facilities maintenance, ensuring all areas are sanitized and well-kept. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. Support porter duties by managing waste disposal and maintaining cleanliness in common areas. Engage in residential painting projects when necessary, ensuring high-quality finishes. Maintain equipment and supplies used for cleaning tasks, reporting any issues or needs for replenishment. Skills Proficient in cleaning techniques and practices for various environments. Experience with buffing and floor care equipment is preferred. Knowledge of custodial procedures and facilities maintenance best practices. Familiarity with industrial and commercial cleaning standards. Ability to perform residential painting tasks is a plus.
