The Courtyard Miami Beach South Beach, located at 1530 WashingtonAve., Miami Beach, FL 33139 is currently hiring aHousekeeper-GeneralClean/PM.
Responsibilities include:
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms (CARE,RPM, GCPM), meeting rooms, and/or public spaces as required,including flipping/inspecting mattresses, box springs andassembling bed frames, vacuuming behind and underneath furniture,spot cleaning carpets and upholstery, dusting, touch-up painting,touch-up furniture ensuring that all necessary hardware andappliances are present in the room and in working order, replacinglight fixtures, and inspecting and repairing grout and caulking.
Maintain, repair and clean all guest rooms in accordance with theproperty room preventative maintenance procedures and standardguidelines. Perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tighteningloose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes inwalls. Perform general cleaning of all guestroom surfaces toinclude tub, wall tile, hard floors, walls, windows, mirrors.
Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, orsafety hazards immediately to the manager/supervisor. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures;report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager;and complete safety training and certifications. Follow all companypolicies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance areclean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietaryinformation, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledgeall guests according to company standards, and anticipate andaddress guests? service needs. Develop and maintain positiveworking relationships with others, and support team to reach commongoals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting,pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and placeobjects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds withoutassistance. Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing ofobjects weighing in excess of 50 pounds. Stand, sit, or walk for anextended period of time or for an entire work shift. Perform otherreasonable job duties as requested.
