POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
The Housekeeper position mustdemonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the bestpossible experience for our guests. The position is responsible forcleaning guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines andprocedures. MAJOR / KEYJOB DUTIES
Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing thebest possible experience for our guests and associates. Cleans assigned guest rooms with adherence to companystandards, policies and procedures. Ensures housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry areas aremaintained to company standard while in use. Stocks carts and cart rooms if necessary and or directed bymanagement. Reports all maintenance issues directly to the front deskand/or manager on duty. Reports any remaining guest property in a check-out roomdirectly to the front desk and manager on duty. Assists and provides reasonable accommodation in response toguest requests whenever possible and practical. Complies with all safety and security policies andprocedures. Completes all required and annual Extended Stay Universitytraining.
OTHER DUTIES
Assisting with cleaning other areas of the hotel as assigned bythe manager including but not limited to, associate breakroom,guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells and commonareas. Responsible for maintaining overall hotel cleanliness. Other duties as assigned by the management team.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOBREQUIREMENTS
Regularly required to remain stationary, be mobile, navigatethe hotel, handle, reach, and detect objects, tools, or controls,and detect scent and detect sounds. Regularly position self to access low areas, traverse heightsand remain stable while doing so, balance, and the ability to bend,kneel, or crouch. Occasionally push/pull objects (carts/cleaning equipment)weighing up to 50 pounds. Detect items in guest rooms to ensure safe performance ofwork. Frequently work in outside weather conditions (depending onhotel). Occasionally works in wet humid conditions (non-weatherrelated), near moving mechanical parts, in the presence of fumes orairborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk ofelectrical shock. Typically, moderate to loud noise levels in the workenvironment. The associate may be asked to travel to help additionallocations within a reasonable geography.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
No prior experience or training necessary. Required Preferred Job Industries Other
