Houseperson Amelia Hotel at the Beach 1997 South Fletcher Avenue, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseperson to join our team at Seaside Amelia Inn on beautiful Amelia Island, Fl. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the property. Duties Perform thorough cleaning hallways, and public areas in accordance with hotel standards. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance. Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate floor care techniques. Restock housekeeping supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management. Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items. Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of housekeeping management practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus. Ability to perform custodial duties effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and staff alike. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
