The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are welcoming and well-kept. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas. Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs. Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and effectively. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing surfaces to meet health and safety standards. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the facility. Skills Proficient in floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, and polishing. Knowledge of custodial practices for effective cleaning in various settings such as hotels or hospitals. Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods for larger facilities or specialized environments. Strong background in hospitality to provide exceptional service to guests and clients. Ability to maintain a clean environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 6 months of previous experience Outstanding verbal communication and conflict resolution abilities. Reliable transportation and willingness to work a flexible schedule: mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience at an extended stay property or hotel.

Physical Requirements:

Stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours). Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally (e.g., luggage, supplies, guest packages). Bend, twist, and reach as necessary to perform desk and lobby duties.

Compensation:

Hourly rate: $14.50
