Full Job Description General Description:

Spanish/English The Houseman is responsible for supporting the housekeeping team in the cleaning, organization, and general maintenance of the hotel’s public areas, as well as in the supply, collection, and transportation of linens, amenities, and cleaning materials. This role is essential to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, order, and presentation in all common areas, guest rooms, and villas.

Main Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain public areas of the hotel in optimal condition (lobby, hallways, meeting rooms, public restrooms, stairways, etc.). Transport clean and soiled linens between the laundry, villas, and floors, ensuring they are delivered to and collected from designated areas. Supply housekeeping units (rooms or villas) with amenities, linens, cleaning items, and inventory needed by the housekeepers. Perform bed strip in rooms or villas according to procedures established by the client. Collect and dispose of trash from rooms, villas, and housekeeping stations. Inspect and maintain company vehicles used for housekeeping duties, ensuring fuel levels, fluids, and overall condition are optimal for use. Report any damages, malfunctions, or irregularities to the immediate supervisor. Follow all safety, hygiene, and proper chemical handling procedures. Support the housekeeping team with any additional tasks as needed .

Requirements:

Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning (preferred but not required). Good physical condition and ability to lift or move heavy items. Service-oriented attitude, responsibility, and teamwork skills. Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. Basic knowledge of safe cleaning product handling.

Working Conditions:

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Exposure to cleaning chemicals and outdoor conditions. Fast-paced resort environment requiring reliability and adaptability.
