Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated full-time Armed Security/Houseman to join a dynamic private household team in Boca Raton, Florida. This is a hands-on, active role requiring complete flexibility, discretion, and a service-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will be a retired law enforcement professional who is fully licensed to carry a firearm.
Responsibilities:
Provide personal and property security in Boca Raton and while traveling domestically Perform hands-on tasks around the home, including light handyman work and household support Run errands, assist with pet care (particularly dogs), and support daily family routines Collaborate with an established team to ensure full coverage and seamless household operations Accompany the family on extensive travel (approximately 5-6 months per year), providing logistical and security support
Requirements:
Former law enforcement experience strongly preferred Valid license to carry and operate as an armed security professional Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and travel as required Strong communication and teamwork skills; must thrive in a collaborative environment Able and willing to travel with the family Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
