Summary:

Ensure a clean, organized, and sanitary environment by carrying out regular housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, vacuuming, managing supply inventory and restocking, maintaining the parking lot, and performing basic equipment cleaning and greasing. Working schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Clean main areas, hallways, stairways, offices, restrooms and employee breakrooms. Vacuum, sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors. Dust and polish furniture. Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner Wipe down and wash windows as scheduled Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition Maintain the parking lot clean of leaves and debris using a leaf blower. Follow all company safety and security procedures Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards Inventory and restocking of cleaning and lunchroom supplies Maintains housekeeping and maintenance equipment in working order. Provides basic cleaning and greasing maintenance of certain equipment Skills and Knowledge requirements: Good communication skills include the ability to listen carefully and ask the right questions to gain clarification, must be able to read simple instructions and follow simple diagrams. Capable of performing simple tasks independently Must have general knowledge of simple equipment used in the building trades Must have previous experience in a similar job Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, methods AND sensitive materials Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend Ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 50lbs), bend, climb, walk and stand for long periods of time Punctual, reliable and conscientious with strong attention to detail and accuracy Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. The ability to multitask, prioritize and drive projects is a must.

Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management. Occasionally overtime might be required.
