Housekeeping The Waverly Assisted Living & Memory Care New Port Richey, FL 34655 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial settings, ensuring that all areas are sanitized and presentable. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for residents in an assisted living facility, contributing to their overall satisfaction. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and buffing as needed. Execute carpet cleaning procedures to maintain the quality and appearance of carpets. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly. Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Collaborate with housekeeping management to develop efficient cleaning schedules. Skills Proficient in commercial cleaning techniques and equipment operation. Experience in custodial work or hotel housekeeping preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of proper sanitation practices and safety regulations in cleaning. Basic cooking skills are a plus for roles that may require meal preparation alongside housekeeping duties.
