Clean occupied guest rooms. Requirements Friendly and welcoming attitude with everyone. The ability to work well with others in a team environment. Perform tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Passion for guest service, values problem resolution, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Provide experiences for our guests and teammates that are personal, instinctive, and renewing. Previous experience in the housekeeping department of a hotel is preferred. Excellent verbal communication skills, must be organized, be able to work with ease in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork, communications skills, and an innovator with an eye towards constant improvement in guest satisfaction and operating efficiency. Essential Responsibilities Clean and reset guest bedroom and bathroom areas according to established standards. Follow procedure for Lost & Found items at all times. Report items to Housekeeping manager to ensure items are not being kept on housekeeping carts. Communicate any defects to appropriate personnel, including Housekeeping, Front desk. Organize and stock cleaning cart and organize linen closets on floors assigned. Complete accurately, and in a timely manner, any assigned paperwork. Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards. As requested, unexpected clean spills and execute special guest requests. Assist other housekeeping employees in maintaining clean and organized work and public areas. Performs other duties as requested by management. Create enriching experiences by working collaboratively with team members. Communicate/relay shift information between work shifts (shift turnover) through various methods including verbal and written communication. Follows all tasks in accordance with department’s daily task checklist, ensuring completion by end of shift. Understands and follows all Hyatt Place brand standards as provided by Hyatt. Ensures compliance of self and others in upholding brand standards.
