Job Description/Summary:

Responsible for performing a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain guest rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

: Follows specific procedure in the cleaning of guest rooms and preparing rooms for new guests Performs cleaning of all areas of the hotel from entrances, closets, conference rooms. Uses industrial cleaning agents and equipment following appropriate safety procedures Advises front desk of rooms ready for occupancy Corresponds with management on any issues needing to be dealt with in the rooms Corresponds with maintenance on any issues needing to be dealt with in the rooms Must adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company including but not limited to those contained in the employee handbook The Plaza Beach Resorts is a collection of award winning resorts on St Pete Beach. We are looking for a motivated person who can work well independently and as part of a team in a high-paced environment. The hotel is family- owned and operated and the owners are on property on a daily basis; this is not a large corporate environment. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
