Weekend,Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri The Hotel Zamora, a beautiful boutique hotel located in St. Pete Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Room Inspector. The Hotel Zamora is under new ownership and management with Sherman Associates, an accomplished and proven real estate development and management company. With stunning views overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway and Gulf of Mexico, the Hotel Zamora provides a luxurious retreat for its guests. Besides relaxing in the beautifully appointed guest rooms, our guests experience intuitive service in our Rooftop Lounge, Sidewalk Restaurant, Private Dining, and Meeting/Banquet space. This position is responsible for managing the overall day-to-day and long term operations of the housekeeping department including the upkeep of all the guestrooms, public spaces, and the outdoor surroundings. Establish and maintain a proven set of processes to assure the hotel is consistently clean taking personal responsibility and pride in both the execution and the results. Provide ongoing training and support for the housekeeping department employees.

Schedule :

We are currently seeking full-time availability to include both weekdays and weekends. Essential Functions Inspect all unassigned/assigned rooms and suites daily, including bed stripping, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, checking of room lights, air conditioner unit, and television, spot cleaning, and storing all room supplies Supervise the re-cleaning of any items missed or not cleaned to brand and hotel standards Complete any necessary work orders and collect all suite keeper work orders and forward to maintenance department/GM Report any items missing from rooms and suites Report all items in need of repair to supervisor and maintain equipment used in work Update room status changes as each occurs in OnQ PM. Check for e-check-ins throughout the shift Assign and inspect the following: oasis, exterior lounges, pool area, common areas and stairwells to verify house person has completed all daily duties Verify all corridors have been vacuumed properly and corridor temperature(s) are at a comfortable setting Maintains a clean and safe work environment, follows all procedures for guests and employee incidents and is knowledgeable for hotel emergency procedures All other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS A

minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience required; Customer service experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions in a multi-lingual environment Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance A passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates Schedule may vary due to the specific needs of the hotel Ensure compliance with federal, state and local hotel laws regarding health and safety services Ability to accurately enter data into various office software, Daily HSK Labor Report, Daily Assignments, and necessary OnQ Room Status Changes (training provided) Ability to accurately report information

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud Exposure to/handling of biological substances such as blood, urine, and vomit

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the hotel on a timely basis Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200-lbs. on a regular and continuing basis Requires frequent kneeling, squatting, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
