The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial and residential spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Cleaner will play a vital role in ensuring that facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for all occupants. Duties Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas. Carry out facilities maintenance duties to ensure all spaces are well-maintained and functional. Execute floor care tasks such as buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Conduct commercial cleaning activities in offices, restrooms, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Support residential painting projects by preparing surfaces and maintaining cleanliness during the process. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions. Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery. Requirements Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing is desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
