Overview
The Housekeeper cleans and keeps in orderly and homelike condition all areas of the Hospice Care Center, including patient rooms and bathrooms, hallways, living rooms, dining room, staff lounge and bathrooms.
Responsibilities
Vacuums, dusts, empties trash, and thoroughly cleans all assigned areas in a manner and frequency established in the housekeeping policy.
Actively maintains a clean, safe, orderly, and homelike atmosp.
Responds promptly and cheerfully to requests for emergency clean up service.
Cleans and disinfects patient care equipment, such as bed, over-bed table, bedsidemode at change of room occupancy change, according to OSHA requirements.
Promptly reports changes in patient, patient/family requests and hazardous conditions to charge nurse.
Promptly reports any hazardous condition to charge nurse or Clinical Supervisor as appropriate.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Travel 25-75%
