Job Summary:

• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining rest area facility and grounds in accordance with FDOT and RESPECT contract and standards.

Education /

Experience:

Must possess basic work skills, with one year experience in janitorial, or a related field. Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

Must pass drug test. Must pass criminal background check.

Essential Job Functions:

• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, stalls, doors, counters, hand dryer, garbage cans, floors, air vents, napkin disposal bins, mirrors, and any other surface as required.
• Clean, sweep, blow, hose, and power wash sidewalks.
• Clean garbage, litter, cigarette butts, and debris from grounds.
• Clean, sweep, blow, hose, and power wash picnic facilities.
• Notify supervisor of maintenance needs, supply needs, and any other issue affecting rest area operations.
• Complete any documentation or checklists as required.
• Clean, sweep, and organize storage facility.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform other functions, as directed, relevant to the position.
