Executive Director Summary:
Maintain common rooms, resident rooms and resident and community laundry on a daily basis as assigned. Monitors cleaning supplies and assures safe handling of supplies. Works with the Maintenance Director to assure a clean and well-maintained residence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrates accountability through attendance, punctuality, and is availability for emergency coverage. May be depended upon to perform job requirements as outlined. 2. Maintains resident rooms to their individual requirements and satisfaction. 3. Cleans, folds, and delivers resident laundry in a timely manner assuring resident satisfaction. 4. Launders kitchen, bed, and bath linen and is kept in good repair. 5. Common areas maintained to assure resident satisfaction and public appeal. 6. Assures supply inventory and communicates any needs in a timely manner. 7. Conform to residence policies and standards of service. 8. Assures resident rights issues are addressed and resident confidentiality is respected. 9. Keeps cleaning supply cart and storage areas clean and in good repair 10. Maintains positive attitude and emphasizes teamwork.

Supports a dignified and caring atmosphere with residents, residents’ families, visitors and staff. Protects privacy and confidentiality of information pertaining to the resident, employee, residence, company information and records. Maintains safe and secure working environment and practices safe working habits. Complies with the attendance policy. Maintains neat appearance, good personal hygiene, and appropriate attire. Participates in training, in services, and attends meetings as required. Assist with special projects as assigned and performs other related duties.

Experience:
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); Previous experience in Housekeeping or laundry with good performance references and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write and read correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to communicate well with an elderly population.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add and subtract four digit numbers. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding in carrying instructions. Ability to deal with situations with few variables. (Signature) (Date)
