OVERVIEW
Work effectively as part of the Housekeeping service team to provide efficient and courteous service. Primarily responsible for, but not limited to, maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel common areas while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service. Primary responsibilities Responsible for cleaning / caring for all common areas. Able to stock housekeeping carts with appropriate supplies for the next day’s shift. Assist front desk with any guest request or needs. Reports all repairs needed to the Executive Housekeeper. Follows proper safety, security and hospitality procedures. Must be reliable and have reliable transportation Performs other related duties as requested by the Executive Housekeeper or Manager
REQUIRED
: Passion for cleanliness and attention to detail. Ability to communicate and comprehend English language sufficient to understand information such as labels and instructions and answer basic guest requests and to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels of guests and team members. Excellent time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task. Good interpersonal skills Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift. Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment.
