General Purpose:

The Housekeeping Clerk is responsible for attending to all requests by phone, housekeeping mobile application, email, hotel software traces etc. he/she receives and ensures proper recording and follow up of all guest requests. He/She should be able to effectivelymunicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.

Essential Duties:

Assisting in the tracking of important information from multiple systems including Revinate, SMS, Breezeway and others

  • Assist the handling of multiple systems data to determine information and prepare reports accordingly
  • Assists with emails and guest calls promptly and courteously, for inquiries of Lost & Found
  • Records lost and found articles. And all items to be locked in store before the close of shift and the items claimed to be documented in the log, and updated in the hotel tracking sheet.
  • Checks reported data forms on a daily basis and assists maintaining daily records of units cleaned, pointspleted, attendance and productivity
  • Assists answering reported guest issues finding data,paring data and determining the reason why such issues were reported whenparing the systems data and reporting back the findings
  • Assist preparing reports for any miscellaneous sales or charges
  • Assumes any other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Basic Required Skills Supervisory or management experience Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees and ensures employees do the same with them.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Requires goodmunication skills, both verbal and written. Must have kledge of Microsoft software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands:

Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by the environmental systems. Some outdoor tasks by be necessary.
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
Must be able to exert a well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
Must be able to lift items weighing up to 25-50 lbs. as needed.
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process ofmunicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees.
Vision occurs continuously with the mostmon visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. EOE M/D/F/V
