Commercial Cleaning Technician Harps Enterprise Macon, GA 31216 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. Conduct commercial and industrial cleaning duties, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and free from debris. Manage floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to uphold the appearance of flooring materials. Handle custodial responsibilities including restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies as needed. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the overall upkeep of the building. Collaborate with other staff members to address specific cleaning needs or special projects as required. Maintain equipment and supplies in good working order, reporting any issues promptly. Skills Experience in facilities maintenance is preferred. Proficiency in commercial and industrial cleaning techniques. Knowledge of custodial best practices and safety protocols. Strong skills in floor care, including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types. Familiarity with residential painting is a plus. Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
