JOB SUMMARY
Maintains and services The Ford Field & River Club operations properly. Must provide quality service and to exceeding Member and Guest expectations. Directly responsible for maintaining and ensuring the highest level of facility cleanliness within the Club and perform light maintenance applications as needed.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a clean aesthetically desirable and safe club environment which meets the expectations of the Club General Manager, Department Managers, Club Members and Guests Cleans assigned areas by washing furnishings and linens and mopping floors with special cleaning solutions and disinfectants to ensure a beautiful and sanitary environment. Uses damp, disinfectant-treated cloths and vacuum cleaner to dust windowsills, blinds, floors, furniture, and accessories. Scours and polishes sink, tubs, mirrors, and similar equipment. Replenishes supplies of soap, towels, and other dispensable items. Requests help in moving heavy furniture and in turning mattresses. Reports any mechanical failures or negative conditions observed in assigned areas to the Director of Facilities & Special Projects. Gathers and disposes of trash, washes wastebaskets and refuse containers and relines with plastic bags. Removes soiled linens from all areas and replaced them with fresh ones. Treats all members and guests in a friendly and respectful manner in accordance with the standards of excellence of The Ford Field & River Club. Understands and follow policies and procedures of The Ford Field & River Club and department. Performs additional related duties as assigned and assists other departments as requested.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFIATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be knowledgeable about maintaining, cleaning, and preserving a wide variety of surfaces. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Must have valid driver’s license and a good driving record to drive a company vehicle.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds (occasionally up to 50) and perform strenuous work lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping and climbing. Vision must be correctable to read and write. Hearing must be sufficient to hear above machinery noise. Must have hand usage to use cleaning tools and machinery. Flexible schedule to include first and second shift, weekends and holidays.
