Housekeeping Mariners Suites 2343 Village Drive, Kingsland, GA 31548 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial spaces, ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Manage housekeeping operations efficiently to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met. Conduct floor care activities such as stripping, waxing, and polishing floors. Carry out carpet cleaning duties to maintain the appearance and hygiene of carpets. Launder linens and other items as required, ensuring they are clean and well-presented. Assist in cooking or meal preparation when necessary, contributing to a comfortable living environment. Maintain custodial supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition. Follow safety protocols while performing cleaning tasks to ensure personal safety and that of others. Skills Experience in commercial cleaning or residential cleaning is preferred. Strong knowledge of housekeeping management principles is a plus. Proficient in sanitizing techniques and the use of various cleaning products. Ability to perform floor care tasks effectively, including carpet cleaning methods. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all cleaning duties. Capability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients or team members.
