$29.4K – $33.5K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Operating systems Customer service English High school diploma or GED Cleaning 1 year Communication skills Entry level Full Job Description Housekeeper Job Description Shift Details The Housekeepers are responsible for performing all housekeeping activities such as, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, laundry, cleaning bathrooms, taking out the trash and cleaning surfaces in resident rooms. Responsibilities also include restocking common areas, resident rooms and bathrooms.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Housekeeping Follow detailed cleaning procedures for each room and common area Responsible for the set-up and mixing of water and detergents, in proper containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications Follow procedures for the use of certain chemical cleaners and equipment Clean common area and resident room(s) floors and walls by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and / or vacuuming Dust furniture, walls, and equipment which include moving furniture around Clean windows and mirrors, using cleaners and sponges Gather and empty trash throughout the facility Ensure all bathrooms are stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, and soap Physical Requirements of the Job Able to lift 0 – 40 lb. daily. Capable of standing, walking, and reaching throughout a shift. Capable of lifting furniture and equipment. Capable of pushing and pulling housekeeping cart on various floors throughout a shift. Capable of pushing and pulling furniture and equipment frequently. Must be able to handle/interact with all cleaning chemicals used Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and even other hours as needed per assigned area. Must have communication skills in English

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION

Education:

High School Diploma/ GED required One (1) year job related experience
