Overview:
Our team at Hotel Bardo Savannah is looking for a detail-oriented Houseperson to assist our Housekeeping team in providing a clean, luxurious experience for our guests. In this position, the Houseperson will be tasked with maintaining organization and cleanliness in the back of the house and assisting housekeeping with daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain guest and back-of-house facing areas to hotel standards Retrieve and deliver special request items made by guests Interact positively and professionally with all guests Maintain the quality and consistency of guests’ experiences through proper maintenance and cleaning of specified areas Provide set-up for special events Work collaboratively with other departments to create a relaxing environment for guests
Qualifications:
Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance in an upper-scale hospitality environment preferred Excellent organizational and time management skills Able to efficiently problem-solve guests’ requests in a professional and timely manner Excellent presentation and grooming standards Detail-oriented with a passion for providing an elevated experience for guests Able to withstand various physical activities throughout the work day
