Rooms – Room Attendant OTH Hotels Resorts 15 East Liberty Street, Savannah, GA 31401 Job Summary The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in guest rooms and surrounding areas. This role ensures a welcoming, safe, and clean environment for all hotel guests in accordance with brand standards and guest expectations. Essential Responsibilities Clean and service guest rooms daily, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing amenities, and cleaning bathrooms. Follow cleaning procedures and checklists for occupied and check-out rooms. Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department promptly. Restock carts and closets with linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities. Respect guest privacy and adhere to Do Not Disturb policies. Ensure lost and found items are reported and handled per hotel guidelines. Assist with laundry duties or public area cleaning as needed. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and team members. Adhere to hotel safety and security protocols at all times. Qualifications Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required. Ability to work with minimal supervision and efficiently manage time. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods (up to 8 hours). Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed. Basic English communication skills required. Work Environment Fast-paced hotel environment. May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures. Uniform required and provided.
