Housekeeper Namaste Inn & Suites 205 North 400 Center Lane, Dawsonville, GA 30534 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including hotels, residential properties, and industrial settings. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an understanding of custodial practices to ensure that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Ensure all guest rooms and common areas are well-maintained and presentable. Conduct floor care tasks, including sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing as needed. Manage housekeeping supplies effectively and report any shortages or maintenance issues. Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Collaborate with housekeeping management to implement best practices for cleanliness and efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or custodial roles is preferred. Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
