Fitness Center Position Overview:
The Women’s Locker Room Attendant provides a welcoming environment to ensure member and guest satisfaction. All Fitness Center Team Members work independently together to complete assigned daily responsibilities to ensure an unparalleled experience for our Club members.
Set Schedule:
Fitness Center team members are on consistent schedule to allow for better work life balance. Flexibility to work outside of regular hours, if necessary, is highly desirable. The hours for this part-time position are as follows:
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday:
6:00 am to 1:00 pm
Key Responsibilities:
Support the purpose and core values of the Atlanta Athletic Club by performing assigned duties as directed Perform daily janitorial and maintenance tasks in the women’s locker room to ensure cleanliness and upkeep Provide members with accurate information about the Fitness Center and other Club amenities and events Complete daily responsibilities and checklists, including but not limited to restocking towels, cleaning, and general janitorial duties Conduct regular walkthroughs of all areas to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment Promptly report any mechanical failures or damaged equipment to the supervisor, manager, and front desk Be cross trained in all areas of the Fitness Center to provide flexible support and fill in as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
Must be well-organized with strong verbal and written communication skills Able to maintain a consistent weekly work schedule Demonstrates excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor Physical requirements include the ability to hear, speak, see, carry, bend, walk, kneel, reach, push, pull, lift up to 30 pounds, and stand for 4 to 8 hours, with or without reasonable accommodations Must be capable of effectively conveying information to both internal team members and external departments High school diploma or equivalent required CPR and First Aid certification preferred; training will be provided if not already certified
