Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an Environmental Services Technician to join our team. This person will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our community. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for staff and visitors.

Duties:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Pest Control
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Follow established safety procedures and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Maintenance:

• Perform minor repairs or maintenance tasks as needed (filter change, move furniture, painting, upkeep of the parking lot and lawn, light plumbing etc.)
• Assist with setting up rooms for admissions or events
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and sanitation

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of maintenance equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required

Skills:

• Floor care: Familiarity with floor care techniques, including stripping, waxing, and polishing floors

• Maintain:

  Ability to keep facilities clean and well-maintained on an ongoing basis

• Custodial:

  Knowledge of custodial duties, including cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, etc.

• Facilities maintenance: Understanding of basic maintenance tasks related to building upkeep
