Job Summary:
Red Roof Inn is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and motivated Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all guests. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and service guest rooms and bathrooms daily in accordance with Red Roof Inn standards. Replace used amenities and linens with clean items. Dust, polish, and vacuum rooms; clean mirrors, windows, and fixtures. Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, public areas, and the laundry room. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to the supervisor promptly. Follow proper cleaning procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and sanitation practices. Work efficiently and independently to meet daily room quotas. Interact professionally and courteously with guests and other staff. Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience is required. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and detail-focused. Able to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed. Strong work ethic and commitment to quality service.
