Housekeeper Staybridge Suite Lake Charles 1100 W Prien Lake Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70601 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to cleanliness, organization, and hospitality standards, making it essential for those who take pride in their work. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms. Execute housekeeping management tasks such as inventory control of cleaning supplies and equipment. Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. Ensure all cleaning procedures adhere to health and safety regulations. Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or items. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with hospitality industry standards. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed to support facility operations. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient workflow and guest satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established cleaning protocols. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices within hotel or hospitality settings is desirable. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and moving items as necessary. A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service.
