This role is a great fit for someone with a background in janitorial cleaning who takes pride in their work and enjoys teaching others. Whether you’ve been a housekeeper for years and love mentoring new team members or you’ve led teams in a janitorial setting, this position offers the opportunity to share your knowledge and help others succeed. As a Cleaning Team Trainer, you will be responsible for onboarding and training new staff to ensure they meet company standards in cleaning techniques, safety practices, and professionalism. This role requires evening availability and reliable transportation to travel to different job sites as needed.

Responsibilities:

Train and mentor new housekeeping/janitorial staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company protocols Conduct hands-on training at various commercial job sites Monitor and evaluate performance of trainees and provide supportive feedback Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards Travel between job sites in the Lafayette area Assist with cleaning duties during training sessions as needed

Requirements:

Experience in commercial janitorial or housekeeping services (minimum 2 years preferred) A passion for teaching and helping others grow in their role Must have evening availability (typically 5 PM – 10 PM) Reliable transportation is required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
