Assist with direction ofemployee work schedules, supervising and allocating cleaning staffon daily housekeeping activities, such as cleaning patient/residentrooms, facilities and disposing waste. Maintaining and inventorystock to ensure that supplies and equipment are available inadequate amounts. Performing administrative tasks for orderinghousekeeping supplies in a healthcare environment. Check andmaintain equipment to ensure that it is in working order.
Monitoring the use of cleaning agents and equipment and personalprotective equipment (PPE) in an appropriate way; issuing keys,clean linens, cleaning supplies and equipment to cleaning staff.
Ensuring housekeeping processes are in accordance with healthcareorganization and regulatory codes. Depending upon location andavailability of programs, may have access to use of internalapplications. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentpreferred. Work experience in environmental services is beneficial.
