At Eastridge Nursing and Rehabilitation, we know that a clean and safe environment helps our residents feel comfortable and cared for. We’re looking for a Full-Time Housekeeper to join our friendly team and make a difference in the lives of our residents every day.

Shift:

6:45 AM

• 3:15 PM Full Time, including some weekends and holidays (because cleanliness never takes a day off!

) Essential Duties and Responsibilities (aligned with Louisiana long-term care facility regulations): Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and offices. Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces to ensure a clean, comfortable environment. Remove trash and soiled linen from resident rooms and common areas. Replenish supplies in resident rooms and common areas (toilet tissue, soap, paper towels, etc.). Follow infection control and safety procedures to maintain a healthy environment for residents and staff. Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions promptly to the supervisor. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with facility policies. Follow cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure consistent quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Ability to lift, push, pull, and move cleaning equipment and carts (up to 50 lbs) Good communication skills and reliability

Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person
