Housekeeper Colonial Acres Resort 114 Standish Way, West Yarmouth, MA 02673 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team for Saturdaus 8-4. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including hotels, hospitals, and other hospitality environments. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas. Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and sanitized according to established standards. Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs. Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless guest experience. Follow safety protocols and adhere to health regulations while performing cleaning duties. Assist with special cleaning projects as needed. Skills Proven experience in industrial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Strong knowledge of housekeeping management practices. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment. Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards in cleaning tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
