Job Description
Housekeeper The Cove at Rockport Rockport, MA We’re in search of a housekeeper to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay with us. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas, making beds, doing laundry, and other general cleaning duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is a cleaning enthusiast, a team player, and a highly organized professional. This job is part-time with expected 18-22 hours each week, mornings only from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Compensation:
$18 – $20 hourly
Responsibilities:
Maintain common spaces, including the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and do laundry as needed Track rooms cleaned and document lost and found items, damage, and repairs needed Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to our hotel’s standards before guests arrive Answer general questions from guests regarding hotel services and local places to see Assist with helping guests understand door locks, HVAC controls, and other on-site tech Extra cleaning, such as deep cleaning, windows, and steam cleaning
Qualifications:
Must have weekend and holiday availability Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification 1+ years as a professional housekeeper or similar position Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills Must be able to read, write and understand English About Company Located in Rockport, MA, we are a 21-room boutique hotel that combines beautiful ocean views, modern amenities, and close-to-downtown art, shopping, and restaurants.
