Housekeeping Motel 6 / Studio 6 65 Newbury Street, Danvers, MA 01923 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met. Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are clean and well-presented. Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care activities to uphold the appearance of the facility. Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs promptly. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Assist with any additional cleaning tasks as directed by management. Skills Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Strong knowledge of housekeeping management practices and sanitation standards. Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively, including carpet cleaners and floor scrubbers. Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently to complete tasks within designated schedules.
