Housekeeping Attendant Essex Street Inn 7 Essex Street, Newburyport, MA 01950 Job Overview The award-winning Essex Street Inn and Suites, part of the Choice Hotels family, is seeking a part-time, year-round housekeeping operations attendant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties will include:

Room inspections: Inspect cleaned rooms for cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance to meet property standards

Laundry:

Assist with sorting, loading, unloading, and folding hotel linens Continental breakfast: Assist with maintaining, restocking, breaking down, food rotation, supply stocking and inventory Approximately 20-25 hours a week, both weekday and weekend availability is required. Must be able to carry up to 35 pounds, stand and walk at length, and navigate stairs.
