Friday Job Purpose:

To ensure the cleanliness, functionality, and upkeep of all residential and property-related areas through housekeeping, regular maintenance, and seasonal care. This role also supports residents and special events by preparing living spaces, assisting with household tasks, and providing flexible support across various properties on Bartlett Island. Duties and responsibilities (including, but not limited to, the following):

General Responsibilities:

Perform routine and seasonal cleaning of residences, including deep cleaning and general upkeep. Manage laundry services for household needs. Conduct maintenance and care of all buildings and vehicles, including seasonal tasks such as washing windows, decks, and preparing for openings and closings. Maintain boats, including interior and exterior cleaning, storage of seat cushions, and general upkeep. Garden and Grounds Support (when needed): Occasional assistance with the care and maintenance of gardens, shrubs, trees, and container plants. Tasks may include planting, brushing, staking, tying, watering, weeding, deadheading, pruning, dividing perennials, and removing deadwood.

Resident & Event Support:

Help prepare residential areas for occupancy, including cleaning and setup, and assist with routine household chores when families are in residence. Provide flexible support as needed for residents, events, and other property-related tasks. Desired Skills and Qualifications Must be capable of doing physical labor and move heavy objects (25-40 lbs.) for long hours, occasionally in all weather conditions. Experience in housekeeping Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effective Self-motivated; must be able to work independently and as a member of a team. Salary is commensurate with experience.
