As a 1st Shift Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the hospital, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Job Summary:

As a 1st Shift Housekeeper, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing assigned areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, hallways, and common spaces. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will be essential in providing a high standard of care and support to healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum designated areas to maintain cleanliness and organization Sanitize and disinfect surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and bathroom fixtures Restock supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper, in assigned areas Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures related to infection control and safety

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a housekeeper or in a similar cleaning role, preferably in a healthcare setting Attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-service oriented demeanor Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time, 1st shift position. The work environment is a bustling healthcare facility, and the role may involve some physical demands, such as standing for extended periods and light lifting.
