Positions available in the followinglocation:
29 Kenyon Rd, Phippsburg, ME 04562.
Duties:
Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintainhotel rooms and guest common areas in a clean and orderly manner. Dutiesinclude cleaning rooms and halls, making beds, replenishing linens,doing laundry, and vacuuming.
Requirements:
No minimum education orexperience required.
Schedule:
Monday through Sunday (schedule varies).
Shifts:
8am-3pm or 4pm-9pm (shift hours may vary). Five rotating days.
Employer will offer at least (no less than) thirty-five (35) hours perweek.
Pay:
$17.19/hr, OT varies at $25.79/hr. Employer offers PTO/sicktime, and 401k (subject eligibility after 1000 hours and one year ofemployment). Optional employee housing available at a rate of $150 perweek to be deducted from paycheck if housing is elected. Employer willmake all deductions from the workers paycheck required by law andoptional housing and 401k contributions, if eligible and elected byworker. On the job training provided. Workers paid bi-weekly. Singleworkweek used to compute wages due.
Inbound/Outbound transportation & subsistence: If the worker completes50% of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and paydirectly or reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence fromthe place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of thework contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employerwill provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of returntransportation and subsistence back home or to the place the workeroriginally departed to work, except where the worker will not return dueto subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer hasappropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment.
The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal tothe most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distancesinvolved. Daily subsistence provided at a rate of at least $15.88 perday during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
Dailytransportation:
Workers are responsible for their own dailytransportation to and from the worksite.
Visa & related expenses: Workers will be reimbursed in the firstworkweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and otherrelated fees, including those mandated by the government (exceptpassport fees) by check separate from payroll.
Tools:
Employer willprovide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment requiredto perform the job.
Guarantee:
Employer guarantees to offer work forhours equal to at least 3/4 of the workdays in each 12-week period oftotal employment period.
