• Job Summary
• We are in immediate need of a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our facilities.
• Responsibilities
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as washing walls, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, window/door cleaning and mopping floors
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, kitchens, guest rooms and other common areas on campus
• Clean lab spaces and offices
• Empty trash containers and replace liners
• Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition
• Notify management of any repairs needed
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals
• Qualifications
• Positive attitude, team oriented, take pride in your work and willing to deal with the public
• Experience in commercial or residential cleaning is a plus, but not required. Willing to train.
• Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Motivated, willing to take initiative to schedule/manage time sensitive tasks and work in a dynamic environment
• Hours are flexible
• Mother hours are a possibility
• Position has the potential to be full time (with benefits) with added responsibilities for the right individual
• Reliable transportation required
