Housekeeper at Bentley’s Saloon Inc. in Arundel, Maine, United States Job Description Clean motel rooms and Park model in campground, clean rooms and bathrooms, replenish linens, towels, vacuum, sweep, dust. Clean restrooms at the Saloon restaurant and Gift shop. Operate cash register, make change, count drawer at closing. Greet guests, help guests find and select items. Take reservations over the phone and in person, check in guests upon arrival. Have knowledge of daily events, specials and promotions, saloon policy and hours of operation. Answer phones and emails from guests and management. Perform occasional light clerical duties. 6 Housekeepers needed for temporary full time employment. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. Discretionary bonus my be given at employers discretion. Possible O/T 0-5 hr wk. O/T vary per wk at $26.66 per hr.
A single work week will be used to compute wage. Dates of need 5/15/25-10/31/25. All deductions from the workers paycheck required by law will be made. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. H2b workers will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging), to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half of the employment period. Employer agrees to reimburse inbound transportation and subsistence expense (subsistence is $15.88 per day minimum, without receipts, to a maximum of $59 per day, with receipts) from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment. Return transportation and subsistence will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
