Hotel Housekeeper The Broadway Columbia

• A DoubleTree by Hilton 1111 East Broadway, Columbia, MO 65201 Sign on BONUS of $100 for full time or $50 for part time after 30 days of employment.

The Broadway DoubleTree hotel is currently hiring housekeepers. We are able to provide flexible scheduling. Housekeepers generally report to work at 8:30am during the week or 9am on the weekends. Housekeepers will clean rooms daily to prepare them for arriving guests. Training and assistance is provided to those with no experience. We would love to have you as a part of our team!

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and other designated areas of the hotel
• Change bed linens, replenish towels and amenities, and restock supplies as needed
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust floors and surfaces
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
• Follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for guests
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries promptly and professionally

Experience:

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping management techniques and practices
• Familiarity with custodial and industrial cleaning equipment and supplies
• Ability to perform floor care tasks such as carpet cleaning and floor waxing

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and orderliness in all areas of the hotel
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
• Good communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues effectively
