Household Assistant & Housekeeper Position Available In St. Louis, Missouri

Household Assistant & Housekeeper Private Household Sappington, MO 63126 A Busy professional with 3 children and no pets is looking for a full-time housekeeper/Household assistant to help maintaining a streamlined home. Hours will likely be 12pm – 8pm Monday – Friday, with some flexibility. I am seeking a reliable, organized, and caring Housekeeper & Household Assistant to support our family’s daily routines and household management. This role will require ensuring a well-run, clean, and organized home environment, meal prep, and daily after-school pickups with transportation to appointments and activities. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, reliable, attentive to detail, efficient, adaptable, respectful, and enjoys working in a family setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping:

Cleaning, including dishes, laundry, vacuuming, mopping, and tidying Organize and put away clothing, ensuring closets and drawers remain orderly Organize and put away toys and art supplies Perform meal prep and cooking Maintain household supplies, grocery lists & shopping

Childcare & Transportation:

Safely pick up my high schooler and 2 grader from school each day Drive to and from extracurricular activities and appointments Provide snack prep, and engaging activities after school when needed Help with 2 grader homework

Administrative Support:

Coordinate and manage household services (e.g., service providers, deliveries, babysitters, etc) Schedule and oversee appointments (e.g., pediatricians, home maintenance) Track school schedules, activity calendars, and family commitments

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Prior experience with childcare, housekeeping, and household management Very strong organizational and time-management skills Trustworthy, punctual, and proactive Able to perform physical household tasks Excellent communication skills Must pass background check

Preferred:
