Job Description
Housekeeper – Full-time Day w/Benefits 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 400 Barnes Road, St. Louis, MO 63124 St. Louis Country Club needs to add another Full-time Day Housekeeper to our team. SLCC Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the Club, except any food preparation areas, and ensure these areas have the necessary supplies for Club members and staff, including the golf and tennis shop.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Clean and disinfect all club member and staff areas, including bathrooms, but excluding any food preparation areas. Wipes and dusts all surfaces, including sanitizing required surface areas. Keep bathrooms stocked with hand towels, hand soap and toilet paper, plus any other requested items. Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes. Remove all trash. Notify supervisor of any damages and deficits. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor. Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to sanitation, safety, and control policies. Be ready and willing to assist fellow housekeeping staff as situations arise.
Qualifications & Physical Demands:
Must be able to endure long periods of standing and walking, and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending. Must be able to see, hear, feel, and talk. Knowledge of standard cleaning equipment safety. Must be detail-oriented and thorough with minimal supervision. Must remain discreet and respect of the privacy of Members and guests. Be dedicated to working as a team in all aspects of daily duties with a team player mentality and a positive attitude. Must be able to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver cleaning equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be required to regularly use hands to handle, grasp, feel, and reach frequently throughout the work day. Schedule will be Tuesday thru Saturday from 8am to 5pm.
