Lovely Family is seeking a professional, reliable, and warm housekeeper/cook to join their household full-time in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be highly organized, and take pride in creating a clean, peaceful, and well-run home.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily housekeeping and deep cleaning (kitchen, bathrooms, floors, bedrooms) Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management Grocery shopping and pantry stocking Preparing healthy, delicious meals (mostly vegan with occasional pescatarian dishes) Managing household supplies and errands
Requirements:
Prior experience as a housekeeper and cook in a private household Knows how to plan and prepare balanced meals with attention to presentation and nutrition Comfortable working around children and a busy household Speaks English fluently (French is a plus!) Has excellent references and a clean background Is proactive, trustworthy, and has a calm, positive demeanor Comfortable with texting and using a smartphone for scheduling/reminders
