Responsible for the cleaning and maintaining of guest’s rooms in accordance with established hotel procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for achieving and maintaining an exceptional standard of cleanliness throughout the guest rooms of the Hotel. Vacuums and cleans all floors and carpets in guest rooms. Dusts and polishes all furniture. Scrubs, disinfects and deodorizes all bathroom fixtures. Strips beds, collect dirty linen, and make beds with fresh linens. Routinely inspects guest rooms for maintenance needs, such as burnt-out light bulbs, plumbing or electrical problems, carpentry needs, or other special problems. Advises housekeeping supervisor of rooms ready for occupancy. Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies and linen. Clean standard 14 to 16 rooms per shift. Responds to and consistently meets the needs of internal clients. Supports and cultivates new ideas and methods to deliver business solutions. Identifies ways to increase efficiencies or improve product or service. Delivers assignments/projects on time and completes all aspects before delivering to internal clients. Clearly communicates programs/services to necessary people, seeks their support and keeps them informed of changes that may impact the business. Keeps track of existing products/services and/or progress on new initiatives. Develops skills to handle increasingly complex matters. Complies with and upholds company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy. Politely gives consistent, timely and accurate information and finds answer when unsure. Uses

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and housekeeping experience preferred
