Housekeeping Anchuca Historic Mansion & Inn 1010 First East Street, Vicksburg, MS 39183 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including rooms in our Bed & Breakfast, our restaurant, and public areas in our historic home. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Duties Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities. Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning. Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented for guests or residents. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest inquiries and requests promptly. Follow established housekeeping management protocols to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met. Proactively deep clean rooms and main areas of home. Washing and ironing tablecloths. Keep outside areas tidy (courtyard, pool, etc.) Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures while performing custodial duties. Skills Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within hotel, residential, or commercial settings is preferred. Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and cleaning techniques. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement. Good communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to make beds neatly and in a professional manner.
