Housekeeping Attendant•Black Mountain•Up to $17.50/hr. PrideStaff is recruiting for Housekeeping Attendant for a conference center located in Black Mountain.
Job Summary:
Perform a variety of cleaning duties related to the care and cleaning of guest rooms and assigned facilities and buildings under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Clean lodging and meeting facilities
Do laundry of guests•linens and towels
Maintain clear walkways and decks
Clean windows and mirrors of all facilities
Keep linen rooms well-stocked and clean
Provide extra towels, wash cloths, and toilet tissue as requested by guests
Spot-clean carpet as needed
Keep lobbies clean, emptying and cleaning trash receptacles
Work independently in the absence of supervision
Be familiar with MSDS for all chemicals
Recommend replacements for linens, towels, bedspreads, equipment, etc.
Qualifications and Requirements
Complete knowledge of proper cleaning and procedures and standards
Strong communication skills
Team oriented
Must be able to repetitively stand, stoop, bend, crawl, reach above and below shoulders, repetitive arm and wrist use, climb ladders and stairs, and walk on uneven surfaces.
Hours of Work:
8am-4pm and every other weekend (two to three days a week)
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $15.00•$17.50 Per Hour
