Job Description

Housekeeper 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 101 W Gold St, Kings Mountain, NC 28086 Foothills (Ellenboro, NC) at Red Oak Recovery serves 14-year-old to 17-year-old male adolescents and their families. Our program is located on a 94-acre working horse farm in Ellenboro, NC to help promote growth, reflection, and healing for those experiencing the results of trauma. Our licensed clinical team and extensive range of therapies provides the support and education young teens need to put themselves back on the right path. We are seeking a Housekeeping Attendant (Part Time) for our Foothills campus to help provide clean, sanitary, comfortable, orderly and satisfying surroundings for the clients, employees, and public. The Housekeeping Attendant promotes sanitary conditions which prevent the spread of infection and odors.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring the cleanliness of the facilities Operating various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, polishers, buffers, etc. Maintaining facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition through washing, cleaning and replacement of equipment and furnishings Disposing of trash, waste, and other disposable materials Handling various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc. and complying with all regulations such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc. Planning work schedule for major tasks Damp dusting furniture, light fixtures, windowsills, etc. Emptying trash containers Wet mopping floors in all residents’ rooms and bathrooms Damp mopping all corridor floors, lobby, dining areas, etc. Cleaning basins, mirrors, commodes, tubs, and showers Cleaning all air vents Reporting any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tile, broken windowpanes, missing nuts or screws, beds needing repair, etc.) Washing windows as scheduled Following instructions on use of germicidal solutions to clean Using safety precautions in all housekeeping services Completing additional related cleaning duties as directed by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:
